Picture 44 Aries and Comet Ikeya-Zhang

April 2002 provided the brightest comet since Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997 (see picture 17).  While by no means as impressive it did put on a good show for nearly a month.  This image capytures the comet IKeya-Zhang over Corfe Castle with the stars of Aries above, moonlight provides illumination for both the sky and foreground.
