This recent snowfall is a rare sight on the Purbecks as our winters become milder.  Taken at sunrise the scene is brought to life by the presence of a scattering of ponies which graze on Corfe Common. Most of the village including the church of St Edward is visible with distant views of Poole Harbour in the background.
